Micah Albert | Blog - Home - Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers - Photo shoot 2012

Friends, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers tour rolled through the West coast which meant we got to connect yet again for this year's photoshoot. And like last year this main photo shoot will precede my trip down to Baja to document their annual event Circus Mexicus; this year it's the XXI event. 

Instead of last year's shoot, we decided to shoot it a lot more candid and a bit more gritty. I wanted to shoot in a style that harken to the 90's - think Jayhawks, Whiskeytown, Uncle Tupelo, John Mellencamp. We ended up with terrible light and had to work very fast. However, we made the most of it, and I'm pretty stoked on what we got and more importantly I feel like we captured RCPM fun-loving spirit. 

Looking forward to Mexico boys.

more stuff & things

Anyone out there? Sometimes I do update this thing with words and not just random photos from Instagram. So much has happened in the last several months but long story short, I took a full time job, was promoted, didn't have a social life, my parents retired, I moved in to their house, my job and commute started to suck, I got a new job offer, quit the full time job and am starting my own little business as a Professional Organizer.

Yep it's a real thing. Google it.

I have one client right now and she is fantastic to work with and helped me with the idea that maybe I should like start marketing myself and make a career out of this. I've been doing all sorts of Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant and Management stuff for several years now and I'm pretty good at it. So why the heck not? 

In other news I now have more time to keep up with my dog blog: http://petersonpups.com and read. I've read 4 books this month! And I have a new-ish dog!
